Hey guys! My name is Missy and I am the CF Special needs ministry director at CF. We have special needs programs available for anyone with special needs ages 3 years old through adults! Our schedule is a little different for each age group, so if you have any questions or confusion, please reach out!
Our kids programs ages 3-18 meets on Sunday mornings during the 9:30 or 11:00 service. We have a separate area for any child who may be overwhelmed by a bigger environment. We do our own lesson and craft as a group and have plenty of volunteers to help. We also have a buddy system for any child who may just need a little more assistance but can still manage being in their age level's environment. Remember either of these options are available at our 9:30 or 11:00 service.
Our adult program has 2 meeting times. Monday nights at 6pm and Tuesday mornings from 9-noon. Our Monday night gathering takes place in the CF Students building. We have a full service, complete with worship and preaching. We usually top the night off with a fun activity like a craft or karaoke. Tuesday morning gatherings meet in the CF kids 456 building are full of activities, a lesson, and everyone’s favorite time, lunch.
We know new things can be a little overwhelming, especially for families with kids/adults who have special needs. We are here to make the process of introducing your family to our ministry as easy as possible. We know every family and situation is different, and we are happy to answer any questions you may have about our special needs ministry, especially in ways we can better assist your family!
